Adam Lambert in the bottom two????????????? Are you fucking serious? This has got to be a joke! Am I being punked? Where's Ashton Kutcher? Am I dreaming? More like a Nightmare! What the hell are you people doing?

I'll tell you what you are doing. YOU ARE VOTING POORLY! You have one responsibility in this reality show and that's to vote for the most entertaining/talented contestant and you failed! I got one word for you America....Daughtry! Have you not learned anything in the past 8 fucking Seasons????????????? Don't get complacent. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security! Don't assume that the most talented person (IE.. Adam Lambert) is safe because he did a brilliant performance and all the judges give him great feedback. Furthermore, don't throw sympathy votes to another person while assuming your favorite is safe. Does anyone remember Tamyra Gray? OF COURSE YOU DON'T! Because she was voted off Idol season 1 because people felt sorry for and voted for the wrong person (IE ..Nikki McKibbin) Seriously, do you really need schooled on how American Idol works after all these years????????????????

I can't say I'm sorry to see you go Matt, because Adam was the alternative to you staying. And he will always get the seat in the lifeboat over you if I have a say. But, you were in my Top 4 and I was pulling for you ever since Hollywood week when you sang "Georgia On My Mind". I was really hoping to see the red headed chick leave this week thus leaving you and Kris to duke it out next week for 3rd & 4th place. But we don't always get what we want. But you didn't cry, so that was good. I'll always remember you...in part because of that mole in the middle of your forehead. I found it very distracting. It's weird but when I look back at my Hollywood Week recordings, I didn't see a mole then. But seriously, I enjoyed your performance more on the nights you wore a hat. (I wonder what they did with Sarah Jessica Parkers mole when she had it removed from her chin? Ironically, I just watched a movie starring her from like 1985 and her mole was practically nonexistent.)

But I digress, attention all Adam fans out there. Vote next week. Don't dial 10 times and call it a night either. Do you think the little 'tweens voting for Chris and Allison are voting just 10 times and then scuttling off to bed like good little children who have to get a good nights rest before school the next day? Not Likely! So put a little effort into it. We can't let the 'tweens rule this show. If we did, then Archuleta would have won last year over Cook. (Ewww.. I just got a shiver down my back thinking about that.)

Don't be discouraged Adam. Don't doubt yourself or change anything. You've been perfect each week. Everything from the "hair" to the "sneer" have been dead on perfect. It's America's bad. And as for Simon guessing that Danny will win over Adam in this weeks T.V. Guide, I would just like to remind people that he called for Archuleta to win over Cook last year...and you know how that turned out.

So dial until your fingers bleed, then switch fingers and dial again!

So Long Anoop!

It's been nice watching you both on American Idol. OK, that's not true. I was trying to be gracious, which just isn't me so why should I even bother pretending I'll remember either of your names when the next season rolls around. However, I will admit freely that Anoop (who I affectionately dubbed "The Slumdog Dude") was growing on me a tiny bit. He could only sing ballads though which is a big minus in my book since I gravitate towards Rock. But he did great during the least 3 of his last 4 performances (You Are Always On My Mind, True Colors & Everything I Do). I can't think of anything positive to say about Lil. She didn't even have one strong showing in this critics opinion. (When I say critic, I'm refering to me being a critical person, and not in the sense where I actually went to school to be a journalist & have been hired by anyone to give my opinion. I do so freely without a paycheck right here on my tiny blog with my viewership of 2! IE: Gloria & Inga. "What Up?" Just a shout out to my peeps!) But I digress, I pretty much would fast forward through Lil's performance'a or that's when I usually took my potty breaks or would pick up my book and read "Twilight". I think it's just that A.) I don't like R&B music and B.) Been there done that with like a zillion other contestants in the 7 other Idol seasons (IE: Fantasia, Melinda, Lakesha, Syesha, Jennifer...and so on.)

To sum it up, I won't miss either of you... yet at the same time the show won't be the same without you. You both are kinda like tonsils that way. I knew you were there, but you weren't necessary and at times could be the source of discomfort, and now that you are gone I'll barely remember you ever being there in the first place. Like I said, just like tonsils!

Greetings!

Just posting for the sake of posting really. But now that I'm sitting here, I've decided to discuss American Idol, which I haven't since the Top 13 were chosen 5 weeks ago.

I truly believe Adam is the most talented contestant to ever be on Idol in all 8 seasons. He manages to amaze & terrify me every week. His Top 36 performance was fabu! I loved his rendition of the Stones "Satisfaction". Then Top 13 he dropped Michael Jackson's "Black or White". It twas not love at first site for me...but I grew to like it. His "Ring of Fire" performance on Top 11 Grand Ole Opry week seriously scared the every lovin' shit out of me when I first saw it. I thought it was a complete & utter train wreck. Then I forced myself to listen to it on a continuous loop the next day and sure enough, after about 7 times I was actually digging it. Not only did I pay to download it from iTunes, but I convinced Gloria to give it a chance. I just kept telling her that it would grow on her, and damn if it didn't. Adam then blew me away Top 10 Motown week with "Track of My Tears." That's probably when I decided I wanted him to win for sure over Gokey. (Though I still like Gokey, I just want him to get 2nd place - He'll get a record deal from the show so no worries). Then there was "Funky Music" during iTunes Top Download week which really left me...indifferent. Not to say I hated it. Not at all, it just didn't do anything for me. But I loved his "performance" of it. The way he moves and sneers is Ab Fab and he reeks of stage presence. (There are others, such as Slumdog dude, who just looks so uncomfortable on stage it's almost painful to watch unless he's plopped on a stool at a mic.) But Adam, well he's got charisma to spare. I just think in the iTunes week there were better songs to pick. Top 8 Birth Year week only solidified Adam as the winner for me. What a soulful rendition of "Mad World". It's not the Tears for Fears "Mad World" from the 80's, but the one revamped for the movie "Donnie Darko" which was sung by Gary Jules. Brilliant! He absofuckinglutely deserved the standing "O" from Simon. I hope he chooses wisely again next week, which I hear is Songs from Movies.
